Hi there! Please find enclosed my first entry to the ScaleAir/ARC Tomcat G/B. This is my Italeri 1/48 Tomcat depicting VF-41 using Aeromaster 48-588 decals.  She is, according to the sheet, BuNo 160379 and is a Tomcat A as she was on the USS Nimitz (CVN-68) January- July 1978.

There are no aftermarket bits in this kit except for the decals. The colors are aerosols, with the upper-surface grey courtesy of Tamiya spray AS-16, Citadel Workshop Skull White ( rubbed with a kitchen towel to shine it up a bit) and Citadel Workshop Chaos Black.  I also used Alclad Jet Exhaust and Polished Aluminum. Sealed with a combination of Games Workshop Purity seal and Future.

Care needs to be taken here as the Games Workshop Purity Seal does not react well with Alclad, even when it's been sealed with Future.

I like these old color schemes and it was a real pleasure to do.
