1/48 Hasegawa F-14D, VF-101 Grim Reapers

This model is completely out of the box.  Hasegawa CVW-14 F-14D (1/48).  Apart from the decals which came from Brian Marbrey from VF-decals.  I really liked these ones but I had a wee bit of trouble with contrast on the sharks mouth. Once I placed the decals on the nose of the plane the markings disappeared.  So I lightened the nose then repainted the sharks mouth by hand. Then dirtied up the whole thing to attempt a better match. Turned out pretty good.
